A touch to Heaven (Sajjangad-Thosegarh) Satara trip

A touch to Heaven

Sajjangad-Thosegarh

Again with two bikes in hand, did not plan for the same...we started our kourney around 10 AM ...This was not planned ....We went to Satara around 110 kms and from der we had an amazing time in Sajjangad ....Sajjangad is an amazing place ....where u can see the glimpse of Koyna from top...he had our lunch ...after finishing the beautiful experience of Sajjangad.

We headed to Thosegarh, as we all knew that thosegarh is more beautiful in Rainy season, but as it was winter ....we still we saw the best of it that we expected....after an peaceful journey of thosegarh we headed whr the wind mills were visible and whr der was the end of Satara ...the last one was amazing ...

The maintenance of the fort and the Samadhi (final resting place) of Sadguru Shri Samarth Ramdas Swami is taken care by Ramdas Swami Sansthan, a trust which has existed since the time of Shri Ramdas Swami. Recently the "Shri Ramdas Swami Sansthan" trust has built a Bhaktniwas for the devotees for free of cost stay. Every year during Shiv Jayanti thousands of devotees visit the shrine by walking up to it.

Thoseghar waterfalls is a scenic spot located near the small village of Thoseghar, 20 km from Satara city, at the edge of the Konkan region, in Western India. The water falls from a good height to a pool and creates an enormous roaring sound. Mist flies above the pool of the water which is so mesmerising that you would want to go to the pool. There are two falls, big and the small one. Big waterfall is the major attraction. The small one is just like a brook.

Visit once...u will feel blessed and safe to be in the hands of Nature .....
